The sheets in this book are Eagle Tissue, which is the
finest paper of its kind.
It is made from the highest grade of unbleached pulp
and twice refined Manila, beaten in sparkling mountain
water.
It contains no foreign matter of any description. Its
natural color indicates its quality.
Due to the purity of its ingredients and the care in
manufacture, it is naturally soft, soothing, sanitary
and exceedingly absorbent. It disintegrates in water,
so that even an excessive quantity will not clog nor
obstruct the plumbing.
FOR TENDER SKINS AND IRRITATED CONDITIONS
EAGLE TISSUE IS UNEQUALLED.
Eagle Tissue is also sold in the conventional packages and rolls
of 1,000 sheets for household and office use.
The Eagle Tissue Mills is the oldest plant in
the U.S. for the manufacture of high grade toilet tissue.
The Mill was first operated in 1869. Situated in Put-
ney, Vt., it enjoys a climatic condition admirable suited
to the production of fine tissue, and a pure water supply
from a clear Green Mountain stream, that enable us to
produce so clean and pure a product. The majority of
the workers at the Mills are descendants of the original
employees, characteristic New England Craftsmen.
